RDI’s Scramble is an event designed to offer participants a challenging and realistic shooting experience that is not competitive. The event involves practical shooting engagements that are designed to mimic real-world scenarios, such as self-defense situations, while focusing on accuracy, speed, and safety.
During the Scramble, participants will engage in a series of shooting challenges that test their skills in various scenarios. These challenges may include shooting while moving, shooting from cover, shooting at multiple targets, and shooting in low-light conditions. Each challenge is designed to help participants improve their shooting skills and gain confidence in their abilities. In addition to improving their shooting skills, individuals who attend the Scramble will also have the opportunity to network with other shooters and learn about the latest shooting equipment and techniques. Overall, the Scramble is an excellent opportunity for individuals to improve their shooting abilities, challenge themselves, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. When complete, everyone gathers at the range house for food, beverages and tall tales.
Participants should bring: Rifle & pistol; 100 rounds for each (minimum); eye and hearing protection; any gear they utilize during training; lawn chair and weather appropriate clothing and gear.
