BEYOND STOP THE BLEED I
This four-hour course delves beyond the objectives of the nationally recognized Stop the Bleed® program, equipping individuals with the skills necessary to respond effectively and increase their chances of survival in the face of natural or manmade disasters. Led by experienced instructors, participants will learn how to properly assess for life-threatening injuries and provide immediate treatment during and after a disaster event. While initially designed with active shooter incidents in mind, the life-saving techniques taught in this module are applicable to various scenarios, including field-type conditions, traffic catastrophes, and construction environments. Upon completion of Module 1, students will receive a CAT tourniquet, empowering them to take proactive measures in hemorrhage control.
