The Pistol Low Light Operations course is designed to provide law enforcement personnel with advanced training specifically for operating handguns in low-light or no-light conditions. This comprehensive course combines essential foundational skills with higher-level tactics, focusing on both hand-held and weapon-mounted light sources. Participants will learn various methods to effectively manage hand-held lights to suit individual preferences, alongside expert instruction on the strategic deployment of weapon-mounted lights (WMLs). The curriculum delves into the precise use of these light sources across different environments and structural contexts, emphasizing skills such as accurate target identification, precision shooting, and advanced concealment techniques.
Training modules also cover essential strategies for conducting thorough searches and safely navigating under challenging lighting conditions.
