Course length: Two Days
Course Description: Understanding that LE rifle skills are drastically lacking in modern law enforcement, the Patrol Rifle class prepares officers to employ their rifle to maximize its effectiveness against violent threats. Because the rifle’s need is becoming more and more common, officers must develop the proficiency and inherent skill needed to best gain the advantage the rifle can provide.
This course is intended to introduce or refresh technical and tactical skills with a patrol carbine or rifle. Students will learn the basic operating methods and procedures for their rifle and be introduced to individual tactics to use the patrol rifle as a force multiplier and increased standoff distance tool.
